1. COMMENCEMENT OF THE HIRE PERIOD 

• The hire period commences on the agreed date and time as outlined in the booking confirmation • Responsibility transfers to the Hirer upon delivery • Responsibility remains with the Hirer until items are returned and confirmed as received by Baby Ready Rentals 

2. PAYMENT TERMS  

• Full payment is required to secure and confirm the booking • A refundable security bond must be paid on delivery • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received in full • By making payment, the Hirer agrees to all terms outlined in this agreement • Your rental fee is charged to your card at checkout. A security deposit is taken as a pending hold (a pre-authorisation) on your card on delivery, and it will be returned after the items are returned in the same condition they were received. 

3. DELIVERY 

Delivery times will be agreed upon in advance • The Hirer must ensure access and availability at the agreed time • If no one is present, additional delivery or reattempt fees will apply • Equipment remains the responsibility of the Hirer from the time of delivery until collection.

4. USE OF EQUIPMENT  

The Hirer agrees to: • Use all equipment safely and strictly for its intended purpose • Follow all manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines • Supervise equipment use at all times • Not misuse, modify, sub-hire, or allow unauthorised use of the equipment • Not expose items to unsafe or damaging conditions (including weather, water, sand, or improper storage) • Ensure any person using the equipment is capable of doing so safely • The Hirer is responsible for maintaining all items in clean, safe, and good working condition throughout the hire period • The Hirer must immediately cease use and notify Baby Ready Rentals if any item becomes damaged, unsafe, or faulty. 

5. CONDITION & CLEANLINESS  

• All items are supplied in a clean, sanitised, and fully functional condition • Items must be returned in the same condition. Additional charges will apply for: • Excessive dirt, stains, or food residue • Sand, mud, mould, or water exposure • Odours (including food, smoke, or pets) • Items requiring deep or specialised cleaning • Cleaning fees range from $30–$60+ depending on condition 

6. WARRANTIES 

• All items are inspected and safety checked prior to hire and provided in good working condition • To the fullest extent permitted by law, no additional warranties or representations (express or implied) are provided 

7. DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT 

The Hirer is fully responsible for all equipment during the hire period. 

The Hirer agrees to cover: • Any damage • Missing parts, accessories, or components • Full replacement cost if an item is lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged • Costs will be deducted from the bond • If costs exceed the bond amount, the Hirer agrees to pay the remaining balance within 7 days • Failure to notify Baby Ready Rentals of damage or faults may result in full liability for resulting loss 

8. INDEMNITY 

• The Hirer acknowledges responsibility for and agrees to indemnify Baby Ready Rentals against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal costs) arising from: • The use or misuse of the equipment • Any injury to persons or damage to property • Any breach of this agreement 

9. INSURANCE 

• Any insurance held by Baby Ready Rentals is conditional upon full compliance with this agreement • Breach of any terms will void insurance coverage • The Hirer remains liable for any uninsured loss, damage, or applicable excess 

10. SECURITY BOND  

To ensure each item remains in the condition it arrives in, a bond (security deposit) is required on delivery on the commencement of your hire. The bond amount will be advised at time of booking and is taken as a pending hold (a pre-authorisation) on your card, and it will be returned after the items are returned in the same condition in which you recieved them. 

The bond is held as security against: • Loss, theft, or damage to the hired item(s) • Late returns or failure to return item(s) • Cleaning costs where item(s) are returned in an unsatisfactory condition. Any breach of this agreement The Hirer authorises Baby Ready Rentals to deduct from the bond any amounts reasonably required to cover the above. Where costs exceed the bond amount, the Hirer agrees to pay the balance owing within 7 days. 

Following the completion of your hire, and once all items have been returned and carefully checked, your bond (or remaining balance) will be released within 48 hours, provided that: • All item(s) are returned on time • Item(s) are returned clean and in the same condition as supplied • No loss, damage, or breach of this agreement has occurred 

Baby Ready Rentals reserves the right to retain part or all of the bond until any issues are resolved, including obtaining repair or replacement quotes where required. 

The bond is not a limit of liability, and the Hirer remains fully liable for any loss or damage exceeding the bond amount. 

11. LATE RETURNS  

• Items must be returned on the agreed date and time • Late returns incur a fee of $40 per day, per item • Continued non-return may result in full replacement charges and further action if required  • Ongoing hire fees may be charged until items are returned 

12. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS  

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the hire start date are non-refundable • No refunds will be provided for unused hire periods or early returns 

13. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER 

To the fullest extent permitted by law: • Baby Ready Rentals is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or misuse of hired equipment • The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the safe use and supervision of all equipment • All equipment is used entirely at the Hirer’s own risk 

14. SAFETY & INSPECTION  

• All items are safety checked prior to hire  

The Hirer must: • Inspect all items upon delivery • Notify Baby Ready Rentals immediately of any faults or concerns • Failure to report issues upon delivery constitutes acceptance that items are in good condition 

15. PHOTO EVIDENCE CLAUSE 

Baby Ready Rentals reserves the right to take photographic evidence of item condition before delivery and after collection for damage assessment. 

16. WEATHER / OUTDOOR USE CLAUSE 

Items must not be left exposed to weather conditions. Any weather-related damage will be charged in full. 

17. TRAVEL PRAM AIR TRAVEL POLICY

Travel prams hired through Baby Ready Rentals are permitted for use as carry-on cabin baggage only when traveling by airplane. Travel prams must not be checked in as checked luggage under any circumstances. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure their chosen airline permits the pram as carry-on baggage prior to travel. Carry-on restrictions vary between airlines, and the hirers must check weight and dimensions of the stroller with the airline carrier before departure. Any damage incurred as a result of the pram being checked in with airline baggage will be considered customer-caused damage and will result in repair or replacement fees in accordance with this agreement.

18. COMPLETION OF THE HIRE PERIOD 

• The hire period is complete once all items have been returned and inspected by Baby Ready Rentals  • Items must be returned on time and in the condition they were supplied • Additional charges may apply for late returns, cleaning, damage, or missing items
